Major Victoria Haley (Haley2) vs Thagrosh, Prophet of Everblight (Thagrosh1)
Cygnar had 4 Hunters, a full unit of Arcane Tempest Gun Mage Pistoleers with unit attachment, a full unit of Sword Knights and a Squire
Legion of Everblight had 2 Ravagores, 1 unit of Blight Wasps, Typhon, a Beast Mistress and a Shepherd
Deployments
Major Victoria Haley allocated one focus on one Hunter and two focus on the other Hunter. She activated first, casted Telekinesis on one Hunter, placed it 2 inches forward and casted Temporal Acceleration on the second Hunter. The two Hunters advanced forward and shot Typhon with Long Arm shots. The two Hunters marshaled by the Arcane Tempest Gun Mage Pistoleers used Snipe shot and succeeded in bringing down Typhon! The rest of the Cygnar forces advanced forward.
The Ravagores advanced into some woods, both used their Dragon's Fire animus. One Ravagore's Blight Blast damages one Hunter and set it on fire, while the other Ravagore's Blight Blast disabled another Hunter's Long Arm.The rest of the Legion forces moved up the battlefield.
Fire disabled a Hunter's Cortex and both arms. Major Victoria Haley advanced and casted Deceleration and Temporal Acceleration on a focus-loaded Hunter. The two marshaled Hunters took shots at the Prophet of Everblight, some damage was transferred to the Ravagores. The focus-loaded Hunter took a Long Arm shot and dealt 11 damage to Thagrosh. The Cygnar turn concluded with the infantry moving up further the battlefield.
A Ravagore failed its threshold check, charged and killed a Sword Knight, while a Blight Wasp charged and killed another Sword Knight. Thagrosh moved up and casted Obliteration on the Sword Knights, slaying four of them, and concluded his activation with Fog Of War. The Beast Mistress advanced closer to the Prophet of Everblight. The other Ravagore spat at a Hunter but only clipped it with its Blight Blast AOE, dealing only small damage to the Cygnaran warjack.
The Sword Knights failed their CMD check. Major Victoria Haley allocated focus on one of her Hunters and casted Deadeye and Deceleration on the Arcane Tempest Gun Mage Pistoleers. The ATGM Pistoleers shot at Legion warbeasts with Critical Brutal, killing a Ravagore and a Blight Wasp. The two marshaled Hunters shot at the Legion warlock and left him with 1 damage point!
The Ravagore failed its threshold check, charged one of the Cygnaran warcaster's Hunters and destroyed it. Thagrosh used his feat, Dark Revival, and brought back Typhon. The Blight Wasps charge at the damaged Hunter and scrap it. The Beast Mistress advanced and casted Blood Rain, damaging the two marshaled Hunters.
Corrosion from the Blood Rain ate away at the Hunters' hulls. Major Victoria Haley casted Telekinesis on a Hunter, placing it closer to the Legion forces, casted Temporal Acceleration on it, and concluded her activation with her feat, Temporal Shift. The remaining Hunter moved up and used its Long Arm with boosted attack and damage rolls against Thagrosh, killing the legion warlock and scoring a win for Cygnar!
Note: We later realized that Legion had a Shepherd and forgot all about it.
35PC Killbox - Major Victoria Haley (Cygnar +2) victorious over Thagrosh, Prophet of Everblight, (Legion of Everblight +1) via assassination. Major Victoria Haley's victory entrenched Cygnar's hold over Arcanopolis.
