Arcanopolis - Major Markus "Siege" Brisbane vs Thagrosh, the Prophet of Everblight (Thagrosh1)

Gaming at Arcanopolis gaining more momentum! Here's a 35PC Killbox game with Cygnar going against the Legion of Everblight:

Turn 1 - Legion of Everblight

Legion goes first. All units run to the middle of the board.

Turn 1 - Cygnar

Cygnar's Greygore Boomhowler & Co. ran up to engage the Legion Strider Rangers. Alten Ashley shot the Ravagore, dealing some damage. Major Markus "Siege" Brisbane used his Ground Pounder to a Strider Ranger, killing it. Arcane Tempest Gun Mage Pistoleers moved up, used Snipe and shot a Ravagore. Triumph shot the other Ravagore, dealt some damage to the Legion warbeast.

Turn 2 - Legion of Everblight

The Sheperd heals a Ravagore. The Ravagore moved up and shot Major Markus "Siege" Brisbane, dealing 10 damage (that was close!). Strider Rangers activated and attacked Greygore Boomhowler & Co., and managed to knock down two of the grunts. The other Ravagore shot a Hunter, not realizing that it has cover and missed badly. Thagrosh, the Prophet of Everblight, moved up and casted Fog Of War. He ended the turn, but forgot to activate the Blighted Ogrun Warspears.

Turn 2 - Cygnar 

Greygore Boomhowler & Co. killed off many Strider Rangers, leaving only two alive. Major Markus "Siege" Brisbane shot the Strider Deathstalker with Ground Pounder and killed it. Triumph shot the Ravagore and dealt considerable damage. The Hunter activated, moved to the right and shot a Ravagore, leaving it with just 1 life left. Professor Viktor Pendrake knocked down the other Ravagore. Arcane Tempest Gun Mage Pistoleers performed an Arcane Inferno on the Ravagore, dealing little damage to it. Lanyssa Ryssyll charged the damaged Ravagore but dealt only a little damage on the Legion warbeast. I regenerated Major Markus "Siege" Brisbane's armor field with four focus.

Turn 3 - Legion of Everblight

Failed the threshold check and killed Lanyssa Ryssyll. Strider Rangers didn't flee. Activated Blighted Orgun Warspears and ordered an assualt against Greygore Boomhowlers & Co. and killing some. The Sheperd healed 3 damage to the Ravagore. Legion Ravagore shot Major Markus "Siege" Brisbane and dealt 5 damage. Strider Rangers did split attacks, dropping a grunt from Greygore Boomhowler's unit, but did not deal damage to Major Markus "Siege" Brisbane. Thagrosh, Prophet of Everblight, used Blight Breath on a couple of Boomhowlers, killing them, and then spent his remaining fury to cast Fog Of War.

Turn 3 - Cygnar

Major Markus "Siege" Brisbane moved up and used his feat, Breach. With Ground Pounder, his shots ignored the concealment provided by Fog Of War, and dealt 12 damage on the Legion warlock. Triumph aimed a shot at the Prophet of Everblight but failed to do any damage. The Hunter moved up and then reduced Thagrosh to 1 wound with a Long Arm shot. With no ability to transfer damage, Alten Ashley took aim and dealt the winning shot, and gave Cygnar the victory.

35PC Killbox - Major Markus "Siege" Brisbane (+2) victorious over Thagrosh, Prophet of Everblight (+1), via assassination. The deadlock between Skorne and the Protectorate of Menoth still prevalent over Arcanopolis!
