Fall of Drakheim

More forces have mobilized to move into Darkheim – only to meet and do battle at the fallen Drakheim railroad bridge.

With orders from General Emmanuel Jules to invade Drakheim, Lord Commander Stryker’s 30th Stormrage clashed with Grim Angus as the Trollblood warlock was carrying Madrak back to Tribe Keishan. Grim and his warband managed to break through the Cygnar force but Stryker, seeing Madrak’s prone body carried by a Dire Troll Earthborn, paused and decided not to give pursuit.

Elder Shaman Hraustr Gifrsent two warbands, led by Grissel Bloodsong and Calandra Truthsayer, to invade Drakheim. From the recent Cygnaran interjection into Khador territory, General Edward Nezn ordered further hammering of their offensive and sent Major Markus “Siege” Brisbane to the front.

Siege’s forces met with Calandra’s warband at the edge of the Drakheim border. The Oracle of Glimmerwood decided not to push their advance, seeing the massive Cygnaran army marching northwards, further into Khadoran territory.

Grissel’s warband made a direct assault against one of the Khadoran forward bunkers. They were met with Forward Kommander Sorscha Kratikoff and battle quickly ensued. The Khadoran warcaster led an over-extended counter-attack, but despite all of the supposedly-telling blows, amazingly Grissel Bloodsong shrugged them off and disabled Sorscha easily.

Cygnar forces overran through scattered elements of Trollbloods and Khador, and immediately engaged the Khadoran withdrawal led by Forward Kommander Sorscha Kratikoff. The Khadoran warcaster played a tremendously risky gamble, baiting Major Siege out from his army. But Sorscha’s plan backfired, and Siege deftly brought his opponent down with withering ranged attacks.

Due to numerous raids from varied factions, Kommandant Ivan Drakhov’s new kamp has been razed, even before most of its foundations were stoned in. His last orders for the Red Army were to replenish their numbers and supplies, and wait for future orders to be given by his private network of Kayazy Assassins.
