Since it's going to be an inevitability, I decided to round up a handful of guys to playtest some Mk2 games at Fortress last Friday, June 5 2009. We played our games at 35 PC using Steamroller 4 scenarios.

Game 1: Fred Escalona's Lich Lord Asphyxious victorious over Kim Navarro's Karchev the Terrible
It wasn't Karchev who was terrible, it was me, terribly failing at measuring my warcaster's control area. I thought I had eAsphyxious done in, with Total War and Unearthly Rage on my Beast-09 and a Juggernaut. I was dead wrong, with my warjacks' charge failing at just about a few more fractions of an inch! Fred brought down the man in the machine by having Tartarus killing off his own Bane Thralls for the Spectral Legion engine and the Lich Lord unleashing them on an overextended Karchev!

Game 2: Kim Navarro's Karchev the Terrible victorious over Friedrich Lopez' Karchev the Terrible
The battle of two bottled madmen, each with their own Behemoths! Friedrich flung an early Total War on his Behemoth and Spriggan to damage my Behemoth, but proved only in breaking some of its systems (namely its right arm). I retaliated and got to break his Behemoth and damaging his Spriggan. My Greylords got to Ice Cage his Devastator, but that new Shake Effect rule proved tremendously detrimental to my tactic! His forces were too far flung behind the front line, so when his Spriggan fell down, I got the win via objective.
Territory Contested: Northwest Khador 
Game 3: Kim Navarro's Karchev the Terrible victorious over Bogs Galvez' High Allegiant Amon Ad-Raza
Early rounds were seen both of us jockeying our miniatures into position. With Unearthky Rage on, my Juggernaut charged and killed one of Bogs' Stone and Mortar stanced Paladins of the Wall - and with that the Protectorate forces moved in to challenge my Khador. With a great display of maneuvering, Amon got off Union and Synergy, and brought down both my Behemoth and Beast-09 with his warjacks! Upon the destruction of his warjacks, Karchev popped Total War, casted Unearthly Rage, turned around to face Amon behind the broken warjacks he toppled and charged the Protectorate warcaster. The Khadoran warcaster fell Amon Ad-Raza with one mighty swing from Sunder!

Game 4: Fred Escalona's Lich Lord Asphyxious victorious over Bogs Galvez' Heirarch Severius
